30TH ANNIVERSARY BLOCK PARTY A SUCCESS

Dr. Rick Aubry, Executive Director

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Block Party on November 1st to help us celebrate Rubicon's 30th anniversary. The weather cooperated to make it a lovely day. Moving to the sounds of the steel drum band, people were able to stroll on the closed off streets surrounding our building and parking lot filled with fire trucks, police cars, AC transit hydrogen bus, a car that ran on olive oil, mulch, cheerleaders, Taqueria Los Grullenses, dogs and bunnies, many community groups and most importantly, our staff and board of directors sharing with the community information about the important work they do everyday to help people live better lives. Click here to read more.

ART & GARDEN SHOW on December 8, 2003
Rubicon's Independent Living Program participants feature an Art Exhibit & Garden Show holiday shopping. The exhibit will run from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and will feature paintings, jewelry, ceramics, clothing and sculptures created by the participants. All proceeds directly benefit the artists. The show is at Rubicon's main office, 2500 Bissell Ave. in Richmond. For more information please call Arliss Dunn at 510-231-3921 or emailmailto:arlissd@rubiconpgms.org

STRATEGIC DIRECTION: SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT RUBICON
