The Bank of America Charitable Foundation announced it has awarded grants to eight East Bay nonprofit organizations, including a $50,000 award to Rubicon. We are grateful to Bank of America, and we are honored to be among leading East Bay organizations to benefit from the Bank's investment in workforce and economic development activities in the area.
"Bank of America is committed to strengthening local economies through workforce development, which leads to financial independence and personal growth that ultimately benefits the economic health of a community," said Martin Richards, Bay Area market president, Bank of America.

We are pleased and grateful that the Y&H Soda Foundation has awarded a $15,000 Challenge Grant to Rubicon for the 2011-2012 fiscal year. Gifts from first-time donors will be matched 100% by the Foundation, and the increased portion of gifts from existing donors will also be matched 100%. This means that if you are a new Rubicon donor, and you donate $250 now, Rubicon will receive an additional $250 from the Foundation. If you are an existing donor, and you donated $100 last year and increase your gift to $250 this year, Rubicon will receive an additional $150 from the Foundation. Our goal for individual gifts for the 2011-2012 fiscal year is $245,000. Please spread the good word! It is only because of you that we are able to continue providing high-impact services.
