Resource Services
Resource Services provides money management and case management to over 200 chronically homeless and/or seriously mentally ill individuals throughout Contra Costa County. The highest priority of this program is to assist individuals in finding and maintaining permanent low cost housing, through teaching financial literacy and life skills, case management that links individuals to needed support services, and budget development.
Rubicon’s Resource Services assist clients in managing incoming funds and in payment of bills, primarily rent, utilities, and food. This is a critical service that helps individuals stay housed and stable. Another essential function of this program is to assist this vulnerable population by providing links to the many different community resources available to help them with their mental and physical health issues, as well as any substance abuse issues. These services, in combination with stable housing arrangements, allow clients to re-enter the community even after years of chronic homelessness.
