Supported Housing

Rubicon supports over 250 individuals with serious mental illness in permanent housing, through recovery focused care management. Whether in individual apartments or clustered housing, staff work with individuals and families at their homes to overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency. We know that having a stable and safe place to live is central to everyone’s ability to move forward towards life goals.

Mental Health and Wellness provides on-site staffing for four sets of subsidized housing for individuals with disabilities (Idaho, Giant Road, West Richmond, and Virginia Street), and provides field based case management for a wide array of individuals in scattered site housing through the ACCESS and PCH programs. What each of these programs have in common is a philosophy: every person deserves a home, and all people can have full and meaningful lives. Whether it is setting up a computer lab with state of the art literacy software at Giant Road or developing a wide ranging volunteer program at the Idaho Apartments, Rubicon’s supported housing programs provide high impact services focused on supporting mental health recovery.
